3D Modeler & Draftsman (PEB)

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled 3D Modeler & Draftsman with robust expertise in Tekla Structures to join our technical team. The primary focus of this role is to transform structural details and technical inputs provided by the detailing department into comprehensive, high-quality 3D models and final construction drawings. You will be responsible for building accurate virtual models and extracting the shop drawings, erection layouts, and material lists necessary for seamless factory fabrication and site erection.

Position Details

• Department: Technical & Engineering
• Education: B.Tech/ Diploma / ITI in Civil,/ Structural,/Mechanical Engineering
• Experience Required: 3+ Years of experience, Proven mid-to-senior level track record in 3D modeling and detailed structural drafting within the Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) industry.
• Primary Software Tool: Tekla Structures (Proficient/Advanced Level)

Key Responsibilities

1 .3D Structural Modeling:

• Build highly accurate, clash-free 3D structural models of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) in Tekla Structures based on approved GA drawings and the specific technical details provided by the Senior Detailing Engineer.
• Incorporate exact connection configurations, plate sizes, bolt details, and weld profiles precisely as instructed.

2. Drawing Generation & Deliverables:

• Generate clear, comprehensive Fabrication Shop Drawings (assembly drawings, part drawings, and cutting sheets) matching strict quality standards.
• Extract detailed Erection Drawings, anchor bolt plans, and framing layouts for site assembly teams.
• Automatically generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), material take-offs, bolt lists, and shipping lists directly from the verified Tekla model.

3 .Revision Control & Collaboration:

• Apply engineering revisions, client modifications, or site rectification updates efficiently across the 3D model and all associated drawing sheets.
• Coordinate actively with the detailing engineers to clarify technical details, ensuring the modeling and drafting process remains seamless and error-free.

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Strong hands-on proficiency in Tekla Structures (Modeling, Drawing, and Template Editing modules).
• Solid understanding of structural drafting principles, geometric dimensioning, welding symbols, and structural steel conections.
• Exceptional eye for detail with a focus on precision, dimensional accuracy, and tracking structural alignment.
• Ability to interpret advanced structural details and translate them accurately into a digital 3D space.
