Program Manager – MBA Program
Role Overview
The Program Manager – MBA Program will be responsible for the smooth academic administration and operational management of the MBA program. The role requires strong expertise in academic coordination, timetable planning, faculty scheduling, student management, and thorough knowledge of Bangalore University examination regulations and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Coordination
- Coordinate end-to-end academic operations of the MBA program.
- Ensure smooth execution of semester plans, course delivery, academic schedules, and classroom management.
- Act as a liaison between faculty members, students, university departments, and institutional management.
- Monitor academic calendars and ensure timely completion of all academic activities.
- Coordinate faculty allocation, session planning, and academic resource management.
- Maintain proper documentation of academic records, course files, attendance, and departmental reports.
Timetable & Scheduling Management
- Prepare and manage detailed class timetables for MBA programs.
- Coordinate with faculty members for subject allocation and scheduling requirements.
- Handle revisions in schedules, substitution planning, and classroom allocations efficiently.
- Ensure optimum utilization of faculty and infrastructure resources.
- Monitor adherence to academic schedules and resolve scheduling conflicts proactively.
Examination & University Coordination
- Well-versed with Bangalore University examination regulations, academic guidelines, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate internal assessments, university examinations, invigilation schedules, and evaluation processes.
- Ensure timely submission of university-related documentation, attendance records, IA marks, and examination reports.
- Handle student examination registrations, hall ticket coordination, and university communications.
- Coordinate with the Examination Department for smooth conduct of exams and result processing.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in examination-related processes and records.
Student & Faculty Support
- Address student academic queries and coordinate resolution with concerned departments.
- Support faculty members in academic administration and classroom coordination.
- Ensure effective communication regarding academic schedules, examination notifications, and institutional policies.
- Facilitate orientation programs, academic events, workshops, and departmental meetings.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to institutional policies, university norms, and accreditation requirements.
- Prepare academic reports, MIS reports, compliance documents, and meeting minutes.
- Maintain accurate academic databases and departmental records.
- Support audits, inspections, NBA/NAAC documentation, and university compliance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Management / Commerce / Administration or related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Experience in higher education institutions, preferably in MBA program administration.
Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience in academic coordination/program management in higher education.
- Prior experience handling Bangalore University academic and examination processes is highly preferred.
- Experience in timetable preparation and academic operations management is mandatory.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of Bangalore University examination regulations and academic processes.
- Excellent academic coordination and administrative skills.
- Expertise in timetable preparation and scheduling management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple academic activities simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems, and academic management software.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and process-oriented approach.
