Job Description -
The Account Manager – Govt Sales will identify new opportunities focusing on Central & State Govt. departments, PSUs and large ministries. The role includes bringing new business in the assigned territory and manage ongoing contract renewals, driving cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring revenue expansion across OneXtel’s CPaaS offerings.
Role and Responsibilities
- :Managing end-to-end sales (including hunting to farming)
- .Identify upselling opportunities and new business targets
- .Manage existing Govt. accounts, including large ministries and central PSUs (Railways, Banks, Insurance, Power, Oil)
- .Drive ongoing contract renewals and identify cross-sell opportunities across SMS, WhatsApp Business API, and Cloud Voice solutions
- .Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior officials and decision-makers
- .Understand client needs and present customized solutions that address their business challenges and objectives
- .Provide post-order execution support to ensure timely delivery, resolution of issues, and high customer satisfaction
- .Collaborate with presales, delivery, and technical teams to coordinate demos, POCs, and service implementations
- .Track weekly sales revenue growth, pipeline, and account performance metrics, reporting to senior management
- .Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within assigned accounts to maximize revenue contribution

Required Qualifications & Skill
- s:3+ years of experience in Enterprise / Govt / IT Sales, preferably with exposure to Government account
- s.Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and maintain senior-level relationship
- s.Understanding of post-order execution, service delivery processes, and issue resolutio
- n.Proven track record in revenue expansion across multiple CPaaS channels (SMS → WhatsApp → Cloud Voice
- ).Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skill
- s.Ability to work in a target-driven, collaborative, and dynamic environmen
t.Preferred Qualification
- s:Exposure to CPaaS / Telecom / IT / SaaS solution
- s.Prior experience handling Government departments/ministries, PSUs, or enterprise account
- s.Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferre
