Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely invoicing and payments. The role also involves handling tax-related documentation, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The accountant will collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate financial data for decision-making and support the finance function in improving processes and controls.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in preparing financial statements, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of taxation, compliance requirements, and audit support processes.
- Experience with accounting software, spreadsheets, and basic ERP tools.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in trading, import/export, or agro commodities sector is beneficial.
