Role Description The Accountant role at Oqlio is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. This role will support monthly and annual closing activities, prepare financial statements and management reports, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. The Accountant will ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations, coordinate with external auditors, and maintain accurate financial documentation. The role also involves supporting internal stakeholders with financial insights that help improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization in handling financial data.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are a plus.
• Prior experience in a SaaS or technology-driven business environment is beneficial.
