Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nagpur at Qualichem Laboratories. The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, and reconciliation of bank accounts and statements. Daily tasks include preparing invoices, processing payments and receipts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with payroll calculations. The role also involves preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and cost analysis, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, and coordinating with auditors and internal stakeholders. The Accountant will collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights that support operational decisions in a laboratory environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong core accounting skills, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of taxation and compliance, including GST, TDS, and other relevant Indian tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Proficiency with accounting and office software, such as Tally
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, and analysis to support operational and management decisions.
  • Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to manage confidential financial information responsibly.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams, auditors, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
