Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accounts Executive role based in Ahmedabad. The Accounts Executive will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing invoices, tracking payments, and supporting monthly and annual closing activities. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as clients, insurers, and auditors to ensure accurate financial documentation and timely reporting. The Accounts Executive will also assist in preparing financial statements, supporting compliance and tax-related processes, and contributing to process improvements in the accounts function.


Key Responsibilities:

• Record and reconcile all bank entries in Tally Prime.

• Enter sales and purchase bills in Tally Prime.

• Deduct TDS as applicable, make monthly TDS payments, and file quarterly TDS returns.

• Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B).

• Maintain and file all statutory and business documents.

• Handle ROC compliance and related work for Private Limited Companies.

• Prepare supporting documents and replies for Income Tax notices.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and general ledger management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software Tally and MS Excel for data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy in handling numerical data, and strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with clients, insurers, and internal teams professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Prior experience in accounts or finance; exposure to insurance or financial services is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
