Role Description The Application Developer will work closely with product and engineering team members to design, build, and maintain features within the BHHire platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and debugging application code, implementing integrations with internal and third-party services, and managing data interactions with core platform databases. The developer will contribute to front-end components, including styling with CSS, and help ensure the application is performant, secure, and user-friendly. This is a part-time remote role, requiring reliable online collaboration, participation in code reviews, and clear documentation of technical work.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Programming for web-based applications.
• Candidates should possess practical experience working with Databases, including designing schemas and writing efficient queries.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for creating accessible, responsive, and consistent user interfaces.
• Candidates should possess experience with Integration, such as connecting APIs, services, and third-party tools into a unified platform.
• Solid understanding of modern web technologies and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, front-end or back-end frameworks) is beneficial.
• Experience with version control systems (such as Git) and collaborative development workflows is preferred.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code, document solutions clearly, and troubleshoot issues independently in a remote setting.
• Relevant education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience is advantageous.
