Position: Area Sales Manager - CSD

Location: Chennai

Reporting To: Sales Manager, CSD


Criteria:

Graduate with 3+ years’ experience in CSD Sales.


Specific Skills and Knowledge:

  • Target Oriented
  • Ready to travel as per territory assigned.
  • Customer Relationship Management.
  • Ensure timely Receivables and Recertification.
  • Service Provider Management
  • Coverage (Store)
  • Proficiency in MS Office & Advanced Excel

Interactions (Internal &External)

Internal: Sales Manager, Sales team colleagues, Sales Coordinator, Accounts, Finance and Logistics team, Human Resources

External: Service Providers, CSD Depot Officials, URC Managers or other representatives, FMCG company representatives in CSD Sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create an action plan for achieving the Sales targets in their territory and execute the plan with the help of the Service Providers.
  • Personally build relationships with the Top URCs (Unit-run Canteens) in its territory. This will be achieved by following a Permanent Journey Plan (PJP).
  • Ensure that the products are available on the shelves in the URCs.
  • Ensure that the merchandising of the products is done on the shelves in the URCs.
  • Will report to the concerned Reporting manager timely as per specific format.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Will coordinate for the timely delivery of the orders to the Depots.
  • Timely recovery of the receivables and Recertifications.
  • Will share Market information with the Manager about New Product listings, promotions, etc.
  • Lead in the New Product Introduction and Price Revision by coordinating the Market Survey.
