Role Description The Article Assistant will support the firm’s assurance, advisory, and compliance engagements through systematic documentation, data analysis, and client coordination. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in audits, preparing working papers, supporting tax and regulatory filings, and helping with financial reporting under guidance from senior team members. The role involves researching applicable laws and standards, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to process improvements within client assignments. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune, requiring regular interaction with the internal team and clients to ensure timely and precise delivery of services.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and auditing fundamentals, including understanding of financial statements and basic compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with accounting or audit software tools.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for documentation, reporting, and professional client interaction.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail, accuracy in data handling, and ability to follow structured processes.
• Ability to work in a team, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple assignments under guidance and supervision.
• Currently pursuing or having completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) articleship eligibility, or equivalent professional pathway as per Institute guidelines.
• Interest in assurance, taxation, and advisory services and willingness to learn in a fast-evolving regulatory environment.
• High level of integrity, professional ethics, and commitment to confidentiality in handling client information.
