IITRAM, Ahmedabad, India invites applications for Assistant Professor and Assistant Professor (Contract) from eligible and interested candidates

About- The Institute invites applications for the post of Assistant Professor and Assistant Professor (Contract) in the discipline of Computer Science and Engineering.

Research/Job Area- In relevant discipline

Location- Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And Management, Ahmedabad

Eligibility/Qualification–

Name of Post Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience Assistant Professor (7th CPC – Minimum Academic Pay Level 12) Minimum Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant discipline.

Experience: Post Ph.D. experience of 3 years in teaching/research/industry. The teaching/research experience should be at institutes such as IITs, IISc Bengaluru, IISERs, NITIE Mumbai, NITs or institutions of repute within India or abroad. Assistant Professor (Contract) (7th CPC – Minimum Academic Pay Level 10) Minimum Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant discipline. Candidates with less then three years of post Ph.D. experience can apply for Assistant Professor (Contract) position. After completing 3 years of Post Ph.D. experience, their services can be regularized subject to satisfactory performance.

• Minimum education qualification for all above posts is Ph.D. Under no circumstances Masters Degree holder without Ph.D. should apply.
• In addition to satisfying the minimum qualification, the candidates should have an excellent academic record, good communication skills, a commitment to imparting high quality undergraduate and post-graduate education and an inclination towards creative research.
  
  

Job/Position Description-

Though the advertisement does not specify any particular specialization, the institute, depending on its teaching requirement shall give preference to such sub-areas within a discipline as may be determined by the Institute. Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate for being called for interview. Institute reserves its right to shortlist the candidates based on the sub specialization needed in a particular discipline.

• Candidates called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro travel expenses from place of residence in India as per the Institute norms.
• Interview may be conducted on Skype or other electronic mode only for overseas candidates.
• Emoluments: IITRAM follows pay scale of IITs as per VII CPC.
