Role Description The Assistant Professor in Community Medicine will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, delivering lectures, leading discussions, and facilitating practical sessions in community medicine. Day-to-day duties include supervising clinical and community-based teaching activities, guiding students during inpatient and outpatient postings, and ensuring adherence to academic standards and institutional policies. The role involves conducting and supporting research projects, participating in curriculum development, and contributing to departmental meetings and academic planning. The Assistant Professor will also engage in community outreach initiatives, health education programs, and evidence-based practice activities. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Shahjahanpur.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Medicine and Community Medicine, with experience in Inpatient Care and community-based health services.
  • Demonstrated ability in Teaching and Medical Education, including classroom instruction, clinical mentoring, and curriculum delivery.
  • Proven skills in Research, including study design, data analysis, publication, and participation in academic or public health projects.
  • Recognized medical qualification (MBBS) with MD/DNB in Community Medicine or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Valid medical registration as per applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and inclusive education.
  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to departmental development, quality improvement, and accreditation activities.
