Assistant Professor-Forensic Science

Kalinga University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Forensic Science in the Department of Forensic Science. We are seeking a dedicated and innovative academic professional with a passion for teaching, research, and service in the field of forensic science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in forensic science, including but not limited to crime scene investigation, forensic biology, forensic chemistry, digital forensics, and related topics.
• Develop and maintain a rigorous research program in the forensic science discipline.
• Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional development, including supervision of research projects and internships.
• Participate in departmental service activities, curriculum development, and committee work.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research projects.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Forensic Science (Candidates submitted their Ph.D. thesis can also apply)
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching at the university level.
• Strong research background, with a commitment to securing external research funding.
• Relevant professional experience in forensic science, with experience in crime laboratories, law enforcement, or related fields (preferred).
• Ability to contribute to the academic growth and curriculum of the department.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
