Role Description The Assistant Video Editor role at Homedot is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. This role involves supporting the creation and refinement of video content for digital platforms, including trimming footage, organizing assets, and assembling sequences according to creative briefs. The Assistant Video Editor will assist in color grading, basic motion graphics, and adding visual elements to ensure brand consistency and engaging storytelling. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with the creative and marketing teams, managing file organization, following established workflows, and meeting project deadlines. The role may also involve preparing different video formats for social media, the Homedot app, and other marketing channels.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing for preparing and assembling high-quality video content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual consistency and overall image quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create simple animations and visual assets that support the brand.
- Basic knowledge of industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow creative direction, and willingness to learn from senior team members are required.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Kochi are essential.
- A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
