Associate Product Manager (Payment Operations)

Role :

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager – Payment Operations to join our growing Payments team. This role is focused on ensuring smooth payment operations, reconciliation accuracy, issue resolution, and coordination with banking/payment partners. You will work closely with Product, Operations, Engineering, Compliance, Support and external payment vendors to ensure a reliable deposit and withdrawal experience for end users

Responsibilities:

• Own day-to-day payment operations across deposits and withdrawals
• Monitor and ensure timely reconciliation of transactions across payment gateways, banks, and internal system
• Handle reconciliation breaks and investigate mismatches using tools like Osfin or similar systems
• Coordinate with banks, payment aggregators, and third-party vendors for issue resolution and operational follow-ups
• Resolve customer payment issues related to failed deposits, delayed withdrawals, pending settlements, reversals, etc.
• Work with Product and Engineering teams to identify operational gaps and improve payment success rates
• Analyze operational funnels and customer journeys using analytics tools such as Mixpanel, CleverTap, and Amplitude
• Create dashboards, operational reports, and escalation trackers
• Ensure payment SLAs, reconciliation timelines, and operational KPIs are maintained
• Suggest product/process improvements based on operational insights and customer pain points

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in Payments Operations / Fintech Operations / Product Operations
• Strong understanding of payment systems including UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, payment gateways, settlements, and reversals
• Hands-on experience in reconciliation workflows and tools like Osfin
• Experience coordinating with banks and payment vendors
• Strong analytical mindset with working knowledge of either of below:

1-Mixpanel

2-Clevertap

3-Amplitude

• Good product sense and ability to identify operational/product improvements
• Strong ownership and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Good to Have:

• Experience in fintech, gaming, brokerage, lending, or high transaction-volume platforms
• Understanding of bank verification, UPI flows and payment risk operations
• Familiarity with SQL or basic data analysis
