The Role


We are looking for an Associate Product Manager – STEM Kits to help develop and improve science-based learning products for children. In this role, you will help turn science experiments into complete STEM kits.


What You’ll Do


  • Research different STEM topics such as chemistry, space, dinosaurs, geology, earth science, nature, etc.
  • Test experiments and check whether they are clear, safe, age-appropriate, and practical.
  • Simplify concepts, and think carefully about how a child or parent will actually use the product.
  • Take ownership of new kits, activity development, product improvements, and product launches.
  • Improve instruction manuals so children and parents can follow the steps without confusion.
  • Work with the design, production, compliance, marketing, and operations teams to improve products. 
  • Maintain clear records of activities, instructions, changes, and product details.


What We’re Looking For

  • Come from a science or STEM background and like simplifying complex concepts. 
  • Enjoy testing, questioning, and improving things.
  • Can spot where a child or parent may get confused.
  • Notice small errors in logic, flow, instructions, or details

Qualifications


Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, STEM, Education, or a related field.


Backgrounds in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Environmental Science, Geology, Science Education, or related disciplines are welcome.


Experience

  • 0–3 years of experience in product development, curriculum development or teaching of STEM topics.
  • Freshers with a strong understanding of science, writing ability, and product thinking may also apply.
  • Projects involving science experiments, educational products, research, manuals, activity design, or child-focused learning content will be valued.


Skills


Must Have

  • Strong understanding of basic science concepts and the ability to simplify them for children.
  • Excellent written English and strong attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to test products and think from a child’s point of view.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or similar tools.


Good to Have

  • Experience with DIY science kits, or educational products.
  • Interest in toys, learning products, STEM education, or children’s products.
