Role Description The AVP – Institutional Alliances is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for building and managing strategic relationships with institutions across sports, education, corporates, and related sectors. The role involves identifying potential institutional partners, developing alliance proposals, negotiating partnership terms, and driving long-term collaboration that supports LegaXy’s brand and athlete portfolio. The AVP will coordinate with internal teams such as marketing, events, content, and athlete management to design and execute joint programs, campaigns, and events with partner institutions. Day-to-day activities include pipeline development, stakeholder meetings, contract and documentation oversight, performance tracking of alliances, and reporting to senior leadership on strategic outcomes and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in institutional or corporate alliances, business development, or partnerships.
  • Solid strategic thinking and planning abilities, including the capacity to design partnership frameworks, value propositions, and long-term collaboration models.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers across diverse organizations.
  • Experience in sports management, entertainment, media, or related industries is highly beneficial, along with familiarity with athlete brands and sponsorship ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in project management, including coordination across cross-functional teams, timeline management, and execution of multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, including evaluating partnership performance, preparing business reviews, and supporting data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, showing initiative, ownership, and collaborative mindset.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred.
