AWS Certified Cloud Professionals (Professional & Specialty Certified)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with AWS Professional or Specialty Certifications (not associate certifications), to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on AWS experience and hold one or more AWS Professional or Specialty certifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AWS infrastructure for performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, network security, and compliance controls.
• Configure and manage core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, EKS/ECS, Lambda, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Backup.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy cloud-native applications.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning.
• Prepare technical documentation and follow AWS architectural best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Mandatory Certifications

Candidates must hold at least one of the following AWS certifications:

AWS Professional Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional

AWS Specialty Certifications (Preferred)

• AWS Certified Security – Specialty
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-account AWS environments and AWS Organizations.
• Experience implementing Well-Architected Framework best practices.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Exposure to serverless architectures and event-driven applications.
• Experience with AI/ML workloads on AWS is an added advantage.
