About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Architect to lead cloud migration and infrastructure automation initiatives for enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Azure cloud technologies, DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud migration projects. This role requires a proactive professional who can architect scalable cloud environments, optimize infrastructure, and drive automation across development and operations. The candidate should be comfortable working in an early morning shift (starting at 4:00 AM, 9-hour workday) and possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities (KRs)

  • Design, architect, and implement scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud solutions.
  • Lead Data-to-Cloud and Cloud-to-Cloud migration initiatives, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless execution.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to enable automated application deployment.
  • Design and manage Azure infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure services, including IaaS, PaaS, App Services, networking, storage, and compute resources.
  • Implement infrastructure automation, configuration management, and deployment best practices.
  • Monitor cloud environments and recommend architecture improvements for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Optimize Azure infrastructure costs by implementing cloud governance and resource optimization strategies.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues related to cloud infrastructure, deployments, and networking.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and cloud governance policies.
  • Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation guidelines.
  • Mentor technical teams on DevOps practices, cloud architecture, and automation frameworks.

Mandatory Skills

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Migration, including Data-to-Cloud and Cloud-to-Cloud migration projects.
  • Strong expertise in Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, and App Services.
  • Strong experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience with Azure Containers and containerized deployments.
  • Good understanding of Linux and Operating System administration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Good To Have

  • Experience with Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Exposure to FinOps, including cloud cost optimization and resource utilization.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Familiarity with Azure networking, security, identity management, and governance.
  • Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or Solutions Architect) are highly preferred.
  • Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code certifications are an added advantage.

Work Requirements

  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
