Role Description This full-time Back End Developer role is an on-site position based in Madurai. The Back End Developer will design, build, and maintain server-side applications and APIs that power Truwave’s utility-focused software platform. Daily responsibilities include implementing scalable features, optimizing performance, managing data integrations, and collaborating with front-end developers and product teams to deliver secure, reliable solutions. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, writing clean and testable code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of development practices.

Qualifications

• Strong back-end web development skills, including experience with server-side frameworks and API design.
• Solid software development skills and familiarity with the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and their practical application.
• Programming skills in Node JS and Nest JS.
• Ability to collaborate with front-end development teams and integrate back-end services with user-facing applications.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Understanding of security best practices, performance optimization, and scalable architecture for SaaS products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, on-site team.
