Role Description The Barista is a full-time, on-site role based at Beku Cafe in JP Nagar, Bengaluru.

This role involves preparing and serving coffee and other beverages. Daily responsibilities include operating coffee equipment, managing inventory for coffee and related supplies, and supporting opening and closing procedures. The Barista will collaborate with the team to uphold quality standards, maintain hygiene and safety practices, and contribute to a warm, inclusive atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess Barista skills, including beverage preparation, coffee equipment handling, and basic knowledge of coffee and espresso-based drinks.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for taking orders, explaining menu items, and coordinating with team members.
• Candidates should possess full knowledge of manual brews, matcha, chocolates, flavour pairings.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in a café or hospitality setting, familiarity with POS systems, reliability in managing shifts, and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming experience and build rapport with guests.
