We are seeking an experienced Tendering & Bidding Professional. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end tendering processes, with specific exposure to Government Utilities, DISCOMs, and the GeM Portal.

This is a critical individual contributor role designated at the Assistant Manager level (adjustable based on candidate profile), responsible for driving the full bid lifecycle — from opportunity identification through to submission and closure.


  • Identify and source tendering opportunities from government portals, utilities, and DISCOMs.
  • Manage end-to-end bid preparation, including costing, documentation, and submission.
  • Ensure full compliance with tender requirements, eligibility criteria, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (technical, finance, legal) to compile competitive and compliant bids.
  • Handle all activities on the GeM Portal including registration, bid participation, and order management.
  • Liaise with Government Utilities, DISCOMs, and procurement authorities throughout the tendering process.
  • Track tender outcomes, maintain bid records, and support post-bid negotiations and closure activities.
  • Monitor upcoming tenders and maintain a pipeline of opportunities aligned with business objectives.


Mandatory Requirements:

  • 3–8 years of hands-on experience in tendering and bidding, specifically in the Government/Public Sector domain.
  • Proven experience working with Government Utilities and DISCOMs.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Portal.
  • End-to-end tendering expertise: opportunity sourcing, bid preparation, costing, documentation, submission, and closure.
  • Strong knowledge of tender documentation, compliance management, and eligibility requirements.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in bid costing and financial analysis for competitive pricing.
  • Excellent documentation and report-writing skills.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with technical, legal, and finance teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
