Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Executive based in Ghaziabad. The Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and partners, and manage the end-to-end sales cycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting outreach via calls, emails, and meetings, presenting UniversityLane’s services to prospective clients, and negotiating agreements. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of partners, tracking performance metrics, preparing reports, and contributing to strategies that expand UniversityLane’s presence in the international education market.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with the ability to identify and convert new opportunities.
  • Solid understanding of Business and Account Management to maintain and grow long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and active listening.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in education, edtech, or related service industries.
  • Ability to work on-site in Ghaziabad, manage multiple priorities, and meet defined targets and timelines.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and client management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education Management, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated customer-centric approach, problem-solving abilities, and a strong interest in international education and student success.
