Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Saraswati Vihar. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and channels to expand Alokit’s customer base and brand presence. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales and outreach strategies, nurturing leads, and maintaining strong relationships with key partners, influencers, and institutional clients. The role involves collaborating with marketing and operations teams to design offers, campaigns, and customer experiences aligned with the brand’s spiritual wellness positioning. The manager will also analyze market trends, track performance metrics, prepare business reports, and provide feedback to improve products, consultations, and services.

Qualifications

  • Strong business development, sales, and client relationship management skills, with the ability to convert leads into long-term partnerships.
  • Experience in market research, opportunity analysis, and strategic planning to drive growth in retail, wellness, or related sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain spiritual wellness offerings in clear, customer-friendly language.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, basic data analysis, and reporting to monitor pipelines, conversion rates, and revenue performance.
  • Background or interest in spiritual wellness, astrology, gemstones, or holistic products is highly beneficial.
  • Proven ability to work on-site in a customer-facing environment, collaborate across teams, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field; relevant industry experience can be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Ethical mindset aligned with authenticity, transparency, and responsible customer recommendations.
