Position Summary

The Business Development Manager – Europe will be responsible for developing, expanding, and managing Giant Truss business throughout Europe.

The candidate will independently identify opportunities, generate leads, travel extensively across Europe, appoint distributors, acquire OEM customers, participate in exhibitions, negotiate contracts, and achieve aggressive revenue targets.

This role demands entrepreneurial thinking, complete ownership, high discipline, and relentless execution.



Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop complete business for Giant Truss across Europe.
  • Generate new customers every month.
  • Develop distributor network.
  • Appoint dealers in target countries.
  • Develop OEM business.
  • Develop rental companies.
  • Develop production companies.
  • Develop event management companies.
  • Develop exhibition contractors.
  • Develop AV companies.
  • Develop stage rental companies.
  • Generate repeat business.
  • Create country-wise expansion strategy.


Market Development

Responsible for expansion in:

  • Germany
  • France
  • Spain
  • Italy
  • Netherlands
  • Belgium
  • Poland
  • Austria
  • Switzerland
  • Sweden
  • Norway
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • Czech Republic
  • Portugal
  • Ireland
  • Eastern Europe and any others


International Travel

Must be willing to travel extensively across Europe.

Expected travel:

  • 15–20 days every month (or as required)
  • Customer visits
  • Dealer visits
  • Factory visits
  • Trade exhibitions
  • Industry conferences


Dealer Network Development

Responsible for:

  • Identifying potential distributors.
  • Evaluating distributor capability.
  • Appointment process.
  • Dealer agreements.
  • Sales support.
  • Dealer training.
  • Dealer performance monitoring.
  • Quarterly dealer review.


Market Intelligence

Continuously monitor:

  • Competitors
  • Pricing
  • Product innovations
  • Certifications
  • Industry trends
  • Customer requirements
  • Market opportunities

Prepare monthly market intelligence reports.


Technical Knowledge

Must thoroughly understand:

  • Aluminium Truss Systems
  • Stage Systems
  • Roof Systems
  • Rigging Products
  • Event Infrastructure
  • Ring Lock Scaffolding
  • Load Capacity
  • Product Applications
  • European Standards
  • Safety Regulations

Candidate must continuously upgrade technical knowledge.


Mandatory Requirements

Candidates must have:

  • Minimum 5 years of international B2B sales experience.
  • Experience in Europe market.
  • Excellent English communication.
  • Ability to negotiate with international customers.
  • Experience with distributors.
  • Experience in technical product sales.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial understanding.
  • Valid passport.
  • Ability to travel internationally without restrictions.

Working Model

  • Hybrid role (Remote + Travel)
  • Flexible working hours based on customer requirements and different European time zones.
  • Availability for evening meetings with European customers is mandatory.
  • Daily updates and weekly review meetings with management are compulsory.


Strict Company Expectations

This role demands accountability, ownership, and a results-driven mindset. Performance will be reviewed monthly, with quarterly evaluations based on revenue growth, market expansion, customer acquisition, and overall contribution to Dlyft’s European business.
