Hiring a candidate for the Group Term Life (GTLI) business requiring a set combining B2B corporate sales, relationship management, and group underwriting knowledge.

Job Summary

We are looking for a driven, results-oriented Corporate Sales & Business Development Specialist to lead and grow our Group Term Life Insurance portfolio. You will be responsible for acquiring corporate clients, developing intermediary/broker partnerships, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle to provide competitive employee benefit solutions to businesses of all sizes.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Acquisition: Prospect and acquire corporate clients, SMEs, affinity groups, and startups to generate new GTLI business.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strategic relationships with HR Heads, Finance Directors, CXOs, and insurance brokers/consultants
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation and need-analysis discussions to solution presentations and policy issuance
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and operations teams to ensure accurate premium quoting and policy booking
  • Account Retention: Drive the persistency, renewal retention, and upselling of existing group accounts.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 4–6 years of demonstrated success in B2B corporate sales, employee benefits, or group insurance (GTLI).
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of group policies, mortality risk, free cover limits (FCL), and regulatory guidelines.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Capable of navigating a target-driven B2B environment independently.
