Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Ahmedabad. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, and expand the company’s network of service providers, businesses, and product partners. Responsibilities include conducting market research, mapping target segments, and developing outreach strategies to drive platform adoption and revenue growth. The role involves preparing and delivering pitches and presentations, negotiating commercial terms, and closing partnership or sales agreements. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to align business development initiatives with platform capabilities, track performance metrics, and provide feedback to improve offerings and customer experience. The individual will also represent the company at meetings, events, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility and strategic partnerships.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, ideally in technology, SaaS, or platform-based businesses.
- Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management, with the ability to consistently meet or exceed targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers and influence outcomes.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable business development strategies.
- Comfort working with technology platforms, CRM tools, and basic analytics to track performance and opportunities.
- Proactive, goal-oriented mindset with strong ownership, resilience, and the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AI-driven or digital marketplace platforms and the Ahmedabad or broader regional market is a plus.
