Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager – Real Estate Sales, based in Gurugram. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and managing relationships with HNI and institutional clients, and promoting Valion’s real estate and portfolio management services. The Business Development Manager will conduct market research, generate leads, deliver client presentations, and manage end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting to closure. Daily responsibilities include coordinating property site visits, negotiating commercial terms, preparing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery. The role also includes tracking sales performance, maintaining accurate CRM records, and contributing to sales strategies and marketing initiatives aligned with Valion’s growth objectives.
Qualifications
  • Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closure in the real estate or financial services sector.
  • Client relationship management capabilities, with experience engaging HNI and institutional clients, understanding their investment needs, and providing tailored advisory.
  • Knowledge of real estate markets, property valuation basics, and investment portfolio concepts, preferably in residential and commercial segments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear, client-friendly manner.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and online real estate platforms for research and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and working in a performance-driven, on-site environment.
  • High level of integrity, professional conduct, and comfort working with confidential client information.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi and other regional languages is beneficial.
