Role Description The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth in ELV, security, and automation solutions. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, preparing proposals and quotations, conducting client meetings and presentations, and negotiating contracts to close deals. The role involves collaborating with technical and project teams to align solutions with client needs, tracking market trends and competitor activities, and maintaining accurate sales pipelines and reports. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring regular client visits and participation in industry events as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in business development, sales, and account management within technology, security, or automation domains.
- Ability to conduct client needs analysis, prepare solution-focused proposals, and deliver clear presentations and demonstrations.
- Proficiency in negotiation, contract closing, and relationship management with both new and existing clients.
- Competence in market research, opportunity identification, and maintaining structured sales pipelines and reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and project teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; experience in ELV, surveillance, or security systems is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in B2B environments, preferably in Chennai or similar markets.
- Comfort with on-site client engagement, field visits, and participation in industry events or exhibitions.
