Role Description This full-time, on-site Business Executive role is based in Alappuzha and Thiruvalla focuses on driving sales and market development for Intas Pharmaceuticals’ products. The Business Executive will visit healthcare professionals and institutions to promote assigned products, build and maintain strong relationships, and ensure regular follow-ups to support prescription generation and product adoption. The role involves planning and executing territory-wise sales activities, achieving sales targets, tracking market trends, and providing timely feedback on competitor activities and customer needs. The Business Executive will coordinate with internal teams for supply, distribution, and marketing support, organize CMEs and other promotional events, and maintain accurate records of field activities, customer interactions, and sales performance. The role requires adherence to compliance standards and alignment with Intas’ values and ethical practices in all business dealings.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong sales and business development skills, including territory management, relationship building, and target achievement in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
  • Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present clinical and product information clearly to healthcare professionals and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Candidates should possess planning, organizing, and time management skills, with the ability to schedule field visits, manage a route plan, and prioritize activities to maximize impact.
  • Candidates should possess analytical and reporting skills, including basic proficiency in MS Office for maintaining databases, preparing sales reports, and tracking performance against objectives.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline is preferred; candidates with degrees in Business or Marketing and relevant pharmaceutical sales experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Relevant experience as a Medical Representative or Business Executive in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in key therapeutic areas, will be an advantage.
