Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based at The Indian Public School campus in Erode, teaching Business Studies for IGCSE, AS, and A Level. The educator will plan and deliver engaging, syllabus-aligned lessons, prepare schemes of work, and design assessments that support differentiated learning and academic progress. Daily responsibilities include evaluating student performance, providing constructive feedback, maintaining accurate records, and preparing learners for internal and external examinations. The role involves collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, participating in departmental meetings, and contributing to school events, projects, and parent interactions. The educator is also expected to foster a positive classroom environment, integrate real-world business concepts, and support students’ overall personal and academic growth.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Business and Business Planning, with the ability to relate concepts to real-world scenarios.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret data, case studies, and exam requirements, and to guide students in critical thinking.
• Effective Communication skills to explain complex ideas clearly, engage diverse learners, and interact with parents and colleagues.
• Awareness of Customer Service principles to support a student-centric approach and maintain professional relationships within the school community.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Management, or a closely related field.
• Prior experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE, AS, and A Level Business Studies or equivalent international curricula is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with contemporary teaching methodologies, classroom technology, and continuous assessment practices.
• Ability to manage classrooms effectively, support learners with varied abilities, and uphold the school’s values and code of conduct.
