Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Sales Professional based in Noida. The Experienced Sales Professional will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for engineering simulation solutions, including ANSYS products, across assigned territories and industry sectors. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting sales meetings and product presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle from initial contact through closing and post-sales follow-up. The role involves collaborating closely with technical and application engineering teams to understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and regularly tracking and reporting sales performance. The Experienced Sales Professional will also participate in industry events, customer workshops, and training programs to stay current on simulation technologies and market trends.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing.
  • Ability to understand engineering and simulation concepts and translate them into clear value propositions for customers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in basic office and CRM tools for managing accounts, tracking opportunities, and preparing reports.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in engineering software, industrial solutions, or technology products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; additional technical or sales certifications are an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet targets, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and trainings as required.
