Responsibilities :

End-to-End Procurement Responsibility

• Lead and execute IT sourcing activities for medium to large volumes (€250k – €3M p.a. or as agreed)
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from demand intake to contract signature and PO creation
• Apply sourcing strategies via RFP processes as well as bilateral negotiations
  
  

Business Partnering

• Act as the primary contact for internal requesters up to group leader level
• Translate business needs into procurement requirements and solutions
• Challenge and guide stakeholders to ensure best value for BASF
  
  

Stakeholder & Process Management

• Steer all relevant stakeholders through the procurement process:
• Internal Business Partners (iBP)
• Legal & Compliance
• Suppliers
• Management stakeholders
• Ensure transparency, alignment, and adherence to procurement standards
  
  

Supplier & Negotiation Management

• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers
• Support Supplier Relationship Management activities
• Contribute to performance improvement and supplier optimization
  
  
  

Experience & Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or comparable qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, IT, or related fields
• Completed procurement training and development program
  
  
  

Skills & Competencies :

• Strong negotiation and commercial mindset
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working
• Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership
• Solid understanding of IT markets (software, hardware, services)
