About the Role

Vidyakul is looking for a high-ownership Category Growth Lead to build and scale one of our online academic categories.

This is not a coordination role. You will own the category end to end—strategy, revenue, content, YouTube growth, course launches, student engagement, product experience, and execution.

You will operate like a mini-business head.


What You Will Own

  • Category revenue, enrolments, retention, and contribution margin
  • Annual and quarterly growth strategy
  • Course planning, batch launches, pricing, offers, and campaigns
  • YouTube content strategy, organic growth, leads, and conversions
  • Teacher and content planning across classes and subjects
  • Student journey from discovery to purchase, learning, and renewal
  • App engagement, user drop-offs, and product improvement inputs
  • Cross-functional execution across academics, marketing, sales, product, and operations
  • Category dashboards, funnel metrics, and weekly performance reviews


Key Success Metrics

  • Revenue and paid enrolments
  • YouTube views, subscribers, leads, and conversions
  • Lead-to-paid and free-to-paid conversion
  • Student attendance, engagement, and course completion
  • Retention, renewal, refunds, and complaints
  • Category profitability and execution speed


Ideal Candidate

  • 4–8 years of experience in EdTech, category management, growth, product, or business operations
  • Experience owning an academic category, digital product, YouTube channel, or revenue vertical
  • Strong understanding of Classes 9–12 students and the online education ecosystem
  • Comfortable working with teachers, creators, marketing, sales, and product teams
  • Strong with data, funnels, revenue metrics, and student behaviour
  • Good understanding of content, YouTube growth, UI/UX, and digital product journeys
  • Able to think strategically and execute hands-on
  • High ownership, speed, and problem-solving ability


Compensation: ₹18–20 LPA CTC plus a strong performance-linked bonus.
