Role Description:
The Centre Manager for Stoik Cricket Academy – Sarjapur Road will oversee the daily operations of the academy, ensuring smooth functioning of coaching schedules, facility usage, and player experience. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru South and involves managing registrations, fee collections, and inquiries, while maintaining accurate records and reports. The Centre Manager will coordinate with coaches and support staff, monitor attendance, ensure adherence to training plans, and address parent and participant feedback in a timely, professional manner. The role also includes overseeing facility maintenance, safety and cleanliness standards, supporting marketing and outreach activities, and driving enrolment growth for the academy. The Centre Manager will be expected to represent Stoik Sports’ values, maintain high service standards, and foster a positive, sports-focused environment.
What We Expect: (0 to 3 yrs Experience)
- Centre administration and operations skills, including scheduling, record-keeping, and basic reporting.
- Experience or Interest in customer service and stakeholder management, with the ability to communicate effectively with parents, players, and staff.
- Basic understanding of cricket or sports coaching environments, and interest in sports development and grassroots programs.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams, handle on-ground issues, and ensure facility upkeep, safety, and compliance with academy policies.
- Proficiency with common digital tools (spreadsheets, communication apps, CRM or enrolment systems) and comfort with technology-driven processes.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; familiarity with local languages in Bengaluru is an advantage.
- Prior experience managing a sports centre, coaching academy, or similar customer-facing facility is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in sports management, business, or a related field is beneficial; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, based on academy schedules.
