Role Description

This is a full-time Chemist position based on-site in Shimla. The Chemist will conduct laboratory testing and analysis, ensure quality control of raw materials and finished products, and contribute to research and development (R&D) efforts. Daily responsibilities include maintaining laboratory equipment, analyzing data, documenting findings, and supporting the development of innovative products and processes. The role requires strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Laboratory Skills, including preparing samples, operating equipment, and conducting tests
• Expertise in Quality Control to ensure compliance with industry and company standards
• Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting data and identifying trends or inconsistencies
• Experience in Research and Development (R&D), as well as conducting research to support product and process innovation
• Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field
• Previous experience in the cement or construction materials industry is a plus
