Chief Investment Officer

Role Description

The Chief Investment Officer (CIO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Abroad, responsible for leading the overall investment strategy and portfolio management activities for the organization. The CIO will design and implement investment policies, identify and evaluate investment opportunities, and manage risk to ensure sustainable financial growth aligned with company objectives. Daily responsibilities include overseeing investment analysis, monitoring market trends, reviewing performance reports, and making data-driven recommendations to senior leadership. The CIO will collaborate with finance and executive teams, manage relationships with external financial partners, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements. This role also involves establishing performance metrics, optimizing asset allocation, and guiding the organization’s long-term investment roadmap.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Investment Strategies and Investments, with experience in developing and executing long-term plans.
• Candidates should possess skills in Investment Management and Portfolio Management, including asset allocation and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess solid Finance knowledge, including financial analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
• Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, MBA) are an advantage.
• Proven experience in a senior investment leadership role, ideally in consulting, financial services, or related industries.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and decision-making abilities, with proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and mentor teams.
• Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and adherence to regulatory and ethical standards in all investment activities.
