🎥 We’re Hiring: Cinematographer (Intermediate) : Chennai

Role: Cinematographer (Intermediate)

Location: Chennai (full-time and on-site)

Starting salary: ₹25,000 per month

We’re looking for a cinematographer who can help take a script from idea to final video. With my team, me or Independently.

We’re not looking for someone who simply knows how to operate a camera. You should understand why each shot is needed, how it connects to the next shot, and how the final video communicates or sells an idea.

Things you should know:

• Shoot to edit
• How to operate a gimbal and have some moves ready
• composition, angles, cuts, closeups, continuity
• Understanding of pacing, continuity, music, sound, and transitions
• Willingness to learn, experiment, and take ownership of projects

Your main work will involve:

• Shooting YouTube videos, Spec Ads, BTS, Cinematic

• And be part of team in client works

• Turning scripts and creative briefs into storyboard then shoot

• Planning shots based on how the final video needs to be edited

Software skills: (is just a plus, operating camera is important)

• Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve Basics

• After Effects knowledge Basics

• Basic color correction, sound cleanup, and export knowledge

What you must have:

• Independently completed at least 3 video projects

• Practical video-editing knowledge

• Should be a graduate

This is a perform, learn, skill up and repeat it job.

We are very chill group, currently working on some inhouse projects, plus few YouTube contents are upcoming so as the team and brand grows so will you too.

We need:

• Links to at least 3 projects you independently shot (and maybe edited too)

• A short explanation of your role in each project

• Details of the cameras, gimbals, and editing software you have used

If your gimbal footage looks smooth and your edits don’t need 42 random transitions to stay interesting, we’d like to hear from you.
