Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team as an Associate Vice President. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in cloud architecture, particularly in designing and implementing robust cloud network solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive cloud initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures on GCP
• Lead the development of cloud network strategies and solutions that meet organizational needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture standards and best practices
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services and tools to enhance operational efficiency
• Conduct cloud readiness assessments and provide guidance on migration strategies
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and cost management
• Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends to drive innovation
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineers
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in cloud deployments

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills

• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and services
• In-depth knowledge of cloud networking concepts and best practices
• Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud security measures
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud strategies
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline
• Understanding of data storage solutions and database management in the clou
• Certifications in GCP or related cloud technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Advanced certifications in cloud architecture or related disciplines are a plus
• Proven track record of successful cloud architecture projects
