This role is for someone who wants to build, not just manage.
We are hiring on behalf of a consumer fintech company backed by one of India’s leading wealth management institutions.
The company has already built and launched live fintech products across payments and digital financial services, with existing partner integrations and a real operating base. It is now entering its next phase across credit-led products, embedded finance and institutional partnerships.
We are looking for a senior fintech operator to join the core founding team and own the business side of the company’s next phase.
The mandate:
Business Ownership — own the business plan, revenue roadmap, commercial models, launch priorities, operating rhythm and key growth metrics.
Strategic Partnerships — identify, negotiate and close partnerships with banks, NBFCs, fintech platforms, infrastructure providers and enterprise partners.
Financial Product Commercialisation — convert regulated financial product opportunities into live business lines by working across product, technology, operations, compliance and external partners.
Revenue & Growth — own monetisation across consumer and B2B opportunities, build revenue pipelines, drive pilots, and convert existing product/user assets into measurable business outcomes.
Operating Leadership — ensure partner go-lives, internal execution, business operations, dashboards and cross-functional coordination move with discipline.
Fundraise Readiness — work closely with the founder on business planning, investor metrics, partner pipeline, traction narrative and the company’s next institutional raise.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in fintech, lending, payments, wealthtech, cards, embedded finance, NBFCs, digital banking or financial services.
- Has personally closed bank, NBFC, fintech or enterprise partnerships.
- Has owned revenue, P&L, business line growth or commercial targets.
- Has launched or scaled regulated fintech / financial services products.
- Strong understanding of credit, payments, financial infrastructure, partner-led business models and regulated product execution.
- Ability to work across business, product, technology, operations, finance, compliance and external partners.
- Can represent the company confidently in conversations with investors, banks, NBFCs and strategic partners.
- High ownership, strong execution discipline and comfort operating in an early-stage environment.
Ideal Background:
- Ex-founder or early-stage fintech operator.
- GM / Revenue Head / Business Lead from a lending, payments, cards, wealthtech or embedded finance company.
- Senior operator from a bank/NBFC digital lending, fintech partnerships or financial services platform team.
- Someone who has taken partnerships beyond conversations into signed agreements, launches and revenue.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the business, reduce founder dependency, drive partnerships and revenue, and help build the company into a fundraise-ready fintech platform.
Meaningful equity will be offered for the right candidate based on experience, ownership level and long-term fit.
