Job Purpose

Design engineer will be responsible for Design and analysis of compact Driveline line component from manufacturing, assembly and function prospective. His job profile will include benchmarking of various making layout, design calculation, detail drawing and release. Capable of working in cross functional matrix environment and coordinate with other design function like DMU, DAS and Engineering service for Design release. In this position will work very closely with Modena and other international locations Will be taking care for current and new products.

Key Responsibilities

• Good Knowledge of the compact Tractor product/Aggregate in details.
• Design of compact Driveline Sub system like Shifitng system, PTO etc
• Make concept layout of Driveline, front axle assembly and Sub assembly
• Good understanding of Gear Design & Calculation, Stack-Up Analysis and General Dimensioning & Tolerances
• Good Communication Skills (good English language) to communicate from Global team
• Expert in using design tool like DFMEA, DMU, ECO creation and design calculation
• Basic Knowledge of FEA & DAS to analysis the report
• Capable of Test Plan definition for design validation
• Hydraulic Systems/Wet Clutch knowledge
• Nearly 20-30% of the time spend on design of Power shuttle; Hydraulic Brakes/clutch and other transmission hydraulic assembly
• Analysis the issue/Problem and find out the solution by using the best design practice like stackup etc
• Use of design software like Teamcenter, Visual mockup etc
  
  

Experience Required

• At least 10 years of experience in product design or mechanical design engineering.
• Design of compact Driveline Sub system like Shifitng system, PTO etc
• Capable of using deisgn tool like Stackup; DFMEA, DFA
• 3D modeling and 2D drafting
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Agriculture
• M Tech Optional
