Role Description The Computer Instructor role is a full-time, on-site position based at Cortex Skills Institute in Sarita Vihar. The instructor will plan and deliver computer science and programming lessons, including theoretical concepts and practical lab sessions. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, designing and updating course materials, assessing learner progress, and providing individualized support and feedback. The role involves demonstrating software tools and programming techniques, guiding learners through exercises and projects, and maintaining a structured, inclusive classroom environment. The instructor will also contribute to curriculum development, participate in staff meetings, and support institute initiatives aimed at improving teaching quality and learner outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, with the ability to explain core concepts clearly and accurately.
• Practical experience in Programming and related tools, with the capacity to guide learners through coding exercises and projects.
• Effective Communication skills to interact with diverse learners and collaborate with colleagues.
• Experience or interest in Curriculum Development, including designing lesson plans, assessments, and course materials.
• Demonstrated Teaching skills, such as managing classrooms, adapting to different learning styles, and providing constructive feedback.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; teaching certifications or training diplomas are an advantage.
• Ability to use common educational and productivity software, and familiarity with online learning tools is beneficial.
• Organizational skills, patience, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
