Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Confectionery Chef, based in Krishna. The Confectionery Chef will be responsible for preparing, decorating, and designing a wide range of chocolates, pastries, and desserts. Daily tasks will include crafting high-quality confections, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, sourcing and managing ingredients, and collaborating with the team to develop new recipes and seasonal collections. The role also includes ensuring timely production and consistent quality while adhering to kitchen safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and skills in confectionery preparation, chocolate tempering, and pastry production.
- Creativity and expertise in cake decorating, dessert design, and custom confection creation.
- Experience in sourcing, handling, and managing high-quality ingredients for confectionery production.
- Familiarity with safe food handling practices, hygiene standards, and kitchen safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining product quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- A diploma or certification in culinary arts, pastry arts, or a related field is preferred.
