Content Writer

Your Mission

As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality, and SEO-optimized content that drives traffic, builds brand authority, and supports marketing campaigns. You’ll focus on writing and optimizing blogs, guest posts, and web copy while ensuring alignment with SEO strategy, marketing objectives, and business goals.

You will collaborate with marketing and product teams to produce content that informs, engages, and converts. This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling, understands SEO fundamentals, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with clear output expectations.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation & Execution

• Write 2 new blog posts per week on topics aligned with SEO strategy and business priorities.
• Create 1–2 paid guest posts weekly to strengthen brand visibility and backlinks.
• Deliver clear, compelling copy for landing pages, newsletters, case studies, and other marketing assets.
• Ensure all content reflects brand tone, editorial guidelines, and campaign messaging.
• Execute weekly blog optimization tasks, including updating content and ensuring internal/external links are in place.

SEO & Content Optimization

• Conduct keyword research to guide blog topics and structure.
• Optimize content for SEO, including metadata, headers, and internal linking.
• Perform weekly social bookmarking and blog optimization tasks (10 per week minimum, or adjusted depending on business needs).
• Monitor performance of published content and adjust based on SEO best practices and analytics.

Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with the Associate Editor and Copy Editor to ensure content quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align content with campaigns, launches, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Participate in team meetings to plan, brainstorm, and align content with business goals.

Content Maintenance

• Update existing blogs based on SEO audit findings or shifting keyword priorities.
• Help maintain content databases, editorial calendars, and keyword lists.

What You’ll Bring:

• 1–2 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or digital marketing.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality, SEO-driven content across blogs, guest posts, and web pages.
• Strong writing and research skills, with attention to detail and editorial standards.
• Ability to meet weekly deliverables and manage multiple content tasks efficiently.

Familiarity with:

• SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console).
• CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Contentful).
• Basic SEO techniques, content optimization, and link-building practices.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Experience in a startup, B2B SaaS, or digital marketing environment.
• Exposure to blog audits, content sprints, or pillar-cluster strategies.
• Understanding of UX writing or CRO-focused copywriting.
• Participation in training or certification programs in SEO/content strategy.
