MAKE AN IMPACT

Role Description

The Derivatives team is responsible for processing life cycle events (fixing) and seamless settlement of Structured Notes and OTC Equity Derivatives across Global markets for wealth clients.


Responsibilities:

• To run a BAU process on Derivatives products for all markets

• To tackle the exceptions on BAU process and provide escalation when is needed.

• To understand the new business initiatives and analysis the possibility to support the functions based on the current capacity or required for any system enhancement.

• Able to run the projects or ad hoc tasks when business driven (e.g. system upgrade or Swift upgrade or ad hoc request raised by business).

• Perform all the ad hoc supports for the supervisor or manager whenever applicable.

• Ensure daily day-end tasks and reports are completed

• MIS – contribute to weekly, monthly KRI/trade volume reporting.

• Review and streamline processes to improve efficiency and control

• Participate in systems enhancements and new products/initiative rollout.


Requirements:

• Product knowledge: Equity, Bonds, Derivatives and structured products

• Knowledge of life cycle events processing for OTC derivatives and Structured notes.

• Knowledge of term sheets and processing of coupon, cash & shares redemptions.

• Wealth Management experience is preferred.

• Previous experience in dealing with Avaloq system is an advantage

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Some Automation skills or experience with AI tools will be handy.


Role: Analyst (1-3 years)

  • IB background with OTC Derivative Settlement and Structured Note settlement experience,
  • Knowledge of coupon, cash & shares redemptions Swift knowledge.
  • WM experience preferred.
  • Automation skills or experience with Process Efficiency tools preferred (e.g. in any of Altreyx, Excel Macro, R, Python, Power-Bi, Tabelu, etc)
  • Strong Communication skills
