Role Description The Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing machinery and components related to plastic processing equipment, ensuring that designs meet performance, safety, and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating CAD models and engineering drawings, performing technical calculations, collaborating with mechanical and electrical teams, and supporting product improvements and customization for clients. The role also involves working closely with production and quality teams to resolve design issues, optimize manufacturability, and support testing and validation of new or modified products. The Design Engineer is expected to document design changes, maintain design databases, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills, with experience in developing industrial machinery or mechanical components.
• Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills, including knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
• Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills and be proficient in relevant CAD software for 2D drafting and 3D modeling
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and standards, with attention to detail and quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to work on-site in a manufacturing environment in Ahmedabad.
• Prior experience in machinery design for plastics or related industrial equipment is an advantage.
