We are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer (HVAC) to join its engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC systems, preparing technical drawings, performing load calculations, developing BOQs, and supporting project execution. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of HVAC design principles and be able to coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.


Roles & Responsibilities
  • Design HVAC systems based on project requirements and client specifications.
  • Perform HVAC load calculations and equipment selection.
  • Prepare ducting layouts, piping layouts, and detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Develop BOQs, technical submittal, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with project execution teams, vendors, consultants, and clients.
  • Review technical drawings and ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Assist in project planning, design modifications, and engineering solutions.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and energy-efficient practices.
  • Maintain accurate design documentation and revision records.



Requirements

Qualifications
  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant HVAC experience may also be considered.
  • Additional certification in HVAC Design or AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
Experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in HVAC system design.
  • Experience in commercial or industrial HVAC projects is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to project execution and coordination with site teams and vendors.


Required Skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and HVAC design software.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC load calculations, duct design, piping design, and equipment selection.
  • Understanding of HVAC systems, project life cycle management, and engineering standards.
  • Ability to prepare BOQs, technical submittal, and engineering drawings.
