Headquartered in Jebel Ali Free Zone (Dubai, UAE), the company has a strong presence across UAE, Oman, Qatar, and India. The company works on hydraulic systems, industrial automation, instrumentation, filtration, valves, and high-pressure engineering solutions.

Job Summary

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Design Engineer with experience in instrumentation system design. The candidate will be responsible for converting customer requirements into practical engineering designs and supporting both pre-sales and project execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop engineering system designs based on inputs from Sales and Application teams
• Prepare GADs (General Arrangement Drawings), P&IDs, and detailed engineering drawings
• Create 2D and 3D models for systems and assemblies
• Design instrumentation panels, skids, and high-pressure systems
• Ensure designs meet customer specifications and industry standards
• Support proposal and estimation teams with conceptual layouts
• Coordinate with vendors, production, and manufacturing teams
• Maintain engineering documents and revision control

Design Exposure

Candidates will get exposure to:

• Tube & Tube Fittings Systems
• Valve & Manifold Assemblies
• Sampling Systems
• High-Pressure Systems
• Instrumentation Panels
• Skid-Based Solutions
• Turnkey Engineering Packages
• Customized Industrial Systems

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar 2D drafting software
• Experience in SolidWorks, Inventor, or other 3D modeling software
• Good knowledge of P&IDs and GAD preparation
• Understanding of piping and instrumentation layouts
• Knowledge of high-pressure system design is preferred
• Experience in BOM preparation and technical documentation

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering
• Experience in instrumentation or process industry design engineering
• Good understanding of engineering design principles
• Ability to understand technical specifications and drawings
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset
