Role Description The E3D Modeler will be responsible for creating and updating 3D models of process plants and related structures using industry-standard E3D tools, ensuring design accuracy and compliance with project specifications and standards. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting engineering drawings and documents, coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams, and incorporating design changes into the 3D model in a timely manner. The role involves preparing layout drawings, extraction of isometrics and other deliverables from the model, and supporting clash detection and design review activities. The E3D Modeler will also assist in maintaining modeling workflows, documentation, and file management to support efficient project execution. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi.
Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in E3D or similar 3D modeling software for plant design, with experience in piping, mechanical, structural, or related disciplines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes relevant to process plants and industrial projects.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in modeling, with a focus on clash detection, layout optimization, and constructability.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field (mechanical, civil, or equivalent) preferred.
• Prior experience in engineering consultancy or EPC environments is an advantage; familiarity with process industry projects is beneficial.
