Role Description The Early Year Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based at Delhi Public School Kochi. The teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons, create engaging classroom activities, and support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of early learners. Daily responsibilities include preparing learning materials, managing classroom behavior, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to learners and guardians. The role involves collaborating with colleagues, participating in school events, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment aligned with the school’s educational standards.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience in early childhood or primary education.
  • Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning and Training skills to design and implement structured, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact with learners, colleagues, and guardians in a clear, respectful, and supportive manner.
  • A recognized teaching qualification or degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to create inclusive, learner-centered classrooms and adapt instruction for diverse learning needs.
  • Strong classroom management, patience, and a genuine commitment to the holistic development of young learners.
  • Prior experience in a school setting, familiarity with modern teaching methods, and basic proficiency with educational technology are beneficial.
